Method
- Marinate the chicken in buttermilk for at least 30 minutes.
- Prepare the breading: combine flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in one bowl; place beaten eggs in a second bowl; and add panko breadcrumbs to a third bowl.
- Coat the chicken in the flour mixture, dip it in buttermilk, then coat it with panko breadcrumbs.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
- Place the breaded chicken in the air fryer basket and lightly spray with cooking spray.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and cooked through.
- Whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey, and lime juice to create the Bang Bang sauce.
- Toss the cooked chicken with the Bang Bang sauce in a large bowl.
- Serve immediately, garnished with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
